More than one city what about the coast
New Orleans is extremely important right now but I was wondering if thier is any news of the other cities and towns where Katrina touched down? Are there survivors there?

1. Yep
Biloxi, MS; Longport, MS; Slidell, LA; Port Fourchon, LA; and plenty of other places. They are getting heavy TV coverage, too.

Most of these towns also suffered near-complete devastation. Mississippi is the only state releasing death tolls, and they're up around 200 now, but the actual number of deaths throughout the Gulf Coast is probably in the thousands. Perhaps the tens of thousands, but we don't even have a ballpark estimate yet -- next week would be the earliest we get an idea of just how bad it is in terms of deaths and financial losses.
