What about risk planning? Contingency planning? ALL OF THIS...
SHOULD HAVE BEEN IN THE SCENARIO PLANNING FOR A STORM LIKE KATRINA.....COMPLETE, TOTAL, UTTER INCOMPETENCE

1. I don't think they did any planning for anything.
They didn't plan for what would happen when Saddam fell in Iraq. I think these ditto-heads who were appointed to Fema and Homeland Security are just warming their chairs and glad-handing one another. They don't have to do anything to have those jobs...and it looks like they didn't do anything.

I can't remember his name.. Does anyone know his background? Does he have any experience in disaster/emergency preparedness/anything relevant?

You know,,, the one they say is "not a matter of if, but when."

There is simply no doubt about it, we are NOT prepared for a terrorist attack. Bush and all his groveling little followers go on and on about "making America safer," but the fact is they have just shown the world how totally unprepared we really are.
