Make a wrong turn, get on the wrong bridge, you're likely to be swamped by hundreds of people trying to commandeer your vehicle. And the average person trying to escape isn't likely to be armed like Mad Max. Whose idea was it to cut the National Guard levels, again?

3. A sick comment, but I've been crying all afternoon:
I kept having visions yesterday of Tina Turner and Mel Gibson (?) from the old "Mad Max" movie trying to drive out of NO.
