The MSM reporters on the scene seem to be 'getting it'
and the Networks have no f*ing story to tell without them. I'm starting to have faith in journalism again.

12. My feeling exactly. Maybe this is what it takes to get some people to
understand the plight of others. Shitheads like O'REilly, Gibson, Hannity, Limbaugh, and Coulter will never get it until it strikes them directly.

4. They are seeing with their own eyes
and your eyes can't lie. Every reporter I've seen today on the scene is pissed off. Keep the truth coming.

But tonight he was blaming the problems on the looters. Someone got to
him. He was less critical of the authorities, more blaming the people.

14. I saw a segment by Shep yesterday(?)
I was quite amazed by his "reporting." He's from Mississippi and his 'personal' attachment to this disaster was obvious. He was very spontaneous, factual (of the known), informational, and a bit emotional.

He's seen IT. And what he's seen is his 'homeland.' And he's also seen that "Homeland Security" has been Out To Lunch.

10. There must be a shortage of ass sticks down there...
Even Brian Williams was showing genuine emotion today. I'm thinking that the stick he usually has stuck up his ass got wet or something and he couldn't find another one to replace it.

13. It's been remarkable.
The journalists are PISSED. I've even seen some of them on the verge of breaking down.

Did you see the clip of the MSNBC cameraman about conditions at the Convention Center? Aaron Brown replayed that spot saying it was one of the most remarkable pieces of journalism that will ever be seen. The guy was actually pleading for the lives of the Americans at the Civic Center.

There was a clip of CNN's Cooper loosing it. Then Cooper had another news person who was born and raised in the area standing in the destruction with him. She almost lost it too, and Cooper put his hand on her shoulder.

ALL of the journalists on the ground are overwhelmed by the pleadings of The People for help. These journalists are actually watching people dying because they have received NO HELP from this horrible Bush administration. These talking-heads out in the field are watching people die from dehydration. They are watching babies die right before their eyes. They have SEEN the score. They feel helpless. They are pissed!

17. CNN headline "No Surprises"
Declaring that "for years" it's been known that NOLA was a sitting duck. Well, I guess that effectively refutes the "noone could have known" b.s. Wow, is Aaron Brown hostile and pissed. As well he should be!
