2. He will blame the Dem gov of LA. Bet LA would have been helped sooner
if Jeb were governor there instead of FL.

Blanco is getting the Gray Davis Treatment. Remember the Calif energy crisis and the DEM gov who asked for help? bush did nothing as ENRON and others fucked Grandma Millie and laughed about it. Davis was recalled and Calif now has a GOP gov.

Anybody else think it's the same shit, different DEM?

4. People in ALL levels of government were (ir)responsible, I'm afraid.
Still, * has proven himself to be far less than compassionate by his own actions. And this time it's not about any foreign fickle either.

3. Nothing
He will leave office in 3 years, and his poor handling of this disaster will be a mere footnote unfortunately.

7. Actually Jane Byrne was elected because of the blizzard
It was Michael Bilandic who lost because he did too little too late. I remember. I wuz here. :)

Jane lost the primary to Harold Washington because the city lost its triple A rating.

Now the whole country has lost its superpower status. The govt is handling New Orleans like a third world country would.

I don't know what'll happen to Bush, but we're getting Congress back in 06.

8. He's going to be done in, I'm afraid.
He has pissed off too many people. He's not entirely at fault and his minions need to be made accountable too. His own cabal will offer him as a sacrificial lamb when they see things coming down, but I don't feel sorry for him.
