5. I heard it...had to pick my jaw up offr the floor
Scarborough: We've been around here in Biloxi, and we haven't seen enough Federal agents or State agents or emergency personnel to even begin providing all these children, all these seniors with food and water, the basic necessities they need. I've seen a lot of hurricanes, and a lot of relief efforts, and what we're seeing here is nothing short of a national disgrace.

----/paraphrase----

From the horse's mouth.

As for locals, he's slamming the locals in both Mississippi and Louisiana, so that's the former head of the RNC Haley Barbour and Blanco over in LA, a Republican and a Democrat. But he's laying it at the feet of the feds as well, for sure. Calls it "amateur hour."

20. I'm watching now and am pretty surprised.
Usually this guy is a RW piece of crap.

But tonight he's been fairly critical of the feds and the local govt. down there and he's letting a reporter talk about all kinds of awful things down there.

He said he was reporting from Biloxi, I think? Maybe that's why he's actually telling the truth about something - maybe he's seen the dead bodies and the rubble for himself. There's no way to get the truckloads of right-wing koolaid to the Gulf Coast right now so he's getting clean and sober.

He also made a comparison to Florida which I hadn't even considered. Florida was prepared and responded quickly to those in need, N.O. was forgotten for four days while Bush vacationed. Sick.

Will he also offer up Repiublican governor Haley Barbour, former head of the RNC? I hardly fucking think so. Doesn't hold water. He seems genuinely fucking pissed off, as all Americans should be. If anything, he's seen internals on this, and is giving the audience what it wants.
