Seriously, we've seen 'em wander off the reservation before and be herded up again to praise the boy-king. The "talking points" about "chose to stay" (like they used to say "chose to be homeless") and the drumbeat about "lawless" people.
BTW, don't anyone suggest I give to Landrieu again because she claims she's a "democrat" She isn't worth the spit it would take to hock one at her.

The horse has left the barn and is not coming back, as far as this disaster is concerned.

2. I suspect the CNN people are instructing operators to take no calls... |
|
from Turd Blossom or his surrogates.

3. I hope to God you are right |
|
I just think that that training of the last 5 years to eventually rationalize everything is awfully strong...

4. I truly believe that we are seeing what we are seeing only because... |
|
of the internets. They were scooped into the truth by bloggers. This ain't half-way around the world in Iraq. Too hard to hide this stuff.

5. As soon as they're given a scapegoat...I nominate Michael Brown... |
|
He'll be the "general" who told them "oh no, we got all the troops we need."
He reeks of scapegoat. Paid scapegoat.
The anchors will go back in line but the reporters in the field who saw everything up close...probably not.

10. Michael Brown? The * appointee with no prior experience in the |
|
emergency management field? Sounds good.

6. Yeah, it's funny how this administration can make phone calls |
|
to get the propaganda machines in line in no time at all, yet they can't seem to make those same phone calls to get relief sent to the hurricane victims.

7. he is trying to get his buddy John King from the WH press corps |
|
some airtime but so far unsuccessful. Anderson Cooper might kick King's ass.

8. Anderson Cooper was following Rove's orders |
|
bait dems into making partisan attacks when people are dying horrifically in NO.
Nothing would save Bush like the dems falling into that trap.

9. Sorry, no... the trap is the reverse of that! |
|
You see, the trap is when they coerce their opponents to shut up and not politicize things.
Thankfully, a lot of people are ignoring that message this time.
