will the Dems be able to pass the Biden amendment?

taking back *some* of the tax cut on the top 1%...

I heard at least ONE repub speak in favor.

won't this KILL the chimp and his minions?

or, it is utterly impossible to get the ultra-rich to 'sacrifice' at all???

would seem like a signicant defeat for BushCo... but, SHOULD make the ultra-rich seem unpatriotic

2. Voting now
I sure hope it passes. Biden was magnificent again.

My officemate is having a real education in Repubs and Dems these days. We're watching CSPAN2 on our computers. When someone said, "The rich don't need the extra money," she asked me, "What will the Republicans say to *that*?" Grassley was up next, and she got to hear the bullshit with her own ears. I'm growing a liberal over here.

3. Screw Miller
If he votes for this I am going to be so mad. I bet he will. Same for Nelson. Of course Kerry and Edwards might be absent, so that will hurt us too.

9. I Want People to be Shocked This Year at the Size of the Defecit
in non-SS dollars. it still hasn't really hit home.

And the fact that Republicans are not only rejecting ways to narrow the defecit, but adding huge amounts ($87B) with no thought of how to pay for it is absolutely appalling.

This really cements the GOP's recklessness. I believe this will come back to haunt Bush a year from now.
