Oprah "should" donate, churches "should" open their doors...
It's one thing to demand our government take care of its people. But before anyone pronounces what another citizen's or group's contribution "should" be, it might be a good idea to ask ourselves what our own contribution should be, and better yet--why not more.

That's all.

2. That's great, but it's as if you (and I) have to defend a woman
who is nothing if not caring and giving. The question of who gives should be asked by people looking at themselves in the mirror.

5. The idea that ANY private citizen is more obliged to respond to this
than the federal government is simply a twisted Freeper distraction.

those churches should put their Christianity into practice. I do understand that they don't have to. On edit though, aren't they getting a bunch of tax dough for faith based charities? I think it's time the public saw this money.
