Katrina victims and a single quote:

From all who are victims of Katrina, her aftermath, and the incompetence of our government a single quote keeps coming to mind:

"Whoever reads this, if any remain to read it, weep for us who have no more tears. Pray for us who are damned alive."

I do not know where I read it or who said it, but whenever I see the devastation and those suffering it comes to mind. I think the number of deaths in this... I don't think there is a word to describe it... but I think the net loss of life will be much greater than 9/11.

If the Bush Administration cannot mobilize a simple mission to these places to bring food and water, let alone helping them escape flood waters, what are they hell are they going to do if we are *seriously* attacked by terrorists? (I.E. Biological or Nuclear Weapon?) We are doomed. Doomed by incompetence, greed, and utter stupidity.
