She was not able to get the funding needed to improve the levees and she was unable to keep the wetlands from being developed. Both contributed in a major way to this disaster.

Saw the interview on NBC. Couldn't answer a question. No matter what was asked she just spouted some boiler plate crap, some admin talking points. The interviewer was perplexed and droped the interview after two questions cuz Landrieu just rambled on.

But I did see her on CNN thanking the President and everyone else who simply deserve no thanks in this at all. Anderson Cooper totally (and surprisingly) put the smack down on her, though. If the NBC interview was after that, then I see that she didn't learn anything from Anderson Cooper. He gets props for trying, though.
