Bush's inaction in New Orleans smells of bigotry.
Edited on Fri Sep-02-05 12:44 AM by Cascadian
I cannot help but say this. I am just beyond belief of Bush's inaction in New Orleans. Where are the National Guardsmen? Where's the aid? I honestly don't blame these poor (literally and figuratively!) people looting just to survive. They are starving, they are angry. Bush and the Neocons have not done jack about them. I see some of the other communities like Biloxi are finally getting help but what about New Orleans? Is it because maybe it just so happens that many of the people stranded in that hellish nightmare are poor and black? I am so angry right now I cannot even type straight. With this fiasco it is very clear that Bush has got to go. Plain and simple!

2. Also left Trent Lott's constituents hanging in Miss. Boundless ineptness.
I wish I could say "Bush is a racist Bastard", but all colors, creeds and religions are victims of the storm and his lack of leadership and/or concern from DAY 1.

3. The bigotry
was obvious looking at the long lines of black folk trying to get in the super dome before Katrina hit. I became angry then. Fox news was jumping around with "Why are you here?" As if they had other options.

5. No, he's an equal opportunity sneerer
This bastard looks down on ALL poor people. He's said himself that the rich are "as different from the lower classes as humans are from the chimpanzees". He's just doing what the royals have done for centuries - consider their own wealth their divine right and the pain of the poor some kind of evolutionary measure.

No pun intended, but does that make him?

I don't think he realized which end of the chimpanzee spectrum he belonged. lmao

Thanks for the great picture! We needed a chuckle this morning badly.

6. someone should have told him the golf courses were flooded
then he might have done something besides jerk off for a week while this disaster unfolded

what an utter, inexcusable lack of leadership.

it does, as you say, smack of bigotry, racism and classism

our lords have higher purposes than to do their duties, if it is poor black people who are affected

this is a crime against humanity, even if it is "only" negligence through incompetence
