A little warning to any that left Sirius after Air America - they may not have processed your deactivation request.
I just got off the phone, even though they had the request the day they dropped Air America and they had it documented I was leaving because they dropped Air America, it was never processed. When I said about my refund they promised me when I first called about deactivation, she said I now owe them seventy some dollars. I called it bullshit and argued with her, later she came back and said they will now process my deactivation order and wanted my credit card to refund 6 months service ( I was paid in advance ) of $41.94. I told her I did not want to take a chance of them billing my credit card by accident so she said they would mail out a check in 6-8 weeks. It's ironic, it appeared they had everything documented - yet for some unknown reason never processed my deactivation. It's also odd they originally wanted to charge me for the time - I did not argue over why they thought I owed them seventy plus dollars but when they owed me it was only $41.94. I was glad just to be free, and can't say I hold a very good opinion of Sirius any more. I packed the radios away, had no way of knowing what was going on, just knew I never received any statements or refunds.
I did document the call because the next move on my part will be to turn it over to the State Attorney General office of Consumer Protection. Even after dropping Air America, I still recommend Sirius for music on other non-political forums, not any more.
