Then people will die because corporations gouged them for prices they couldn't afford vs. the government failing to step in.

A more damning metaphor could scarcely be imagined... and yet the metaphor is, accidental, simply a by-product of the surreal reality, just one more mouthful of the poisoned fruit of the Bushco kleptocracy. Bush needs an albatross hung round his neck, double-quick!

4. They are blaming it on the looters, it's their fault rescue efforts
have stopped and no supplies are getting through. Pretty sorry excuse if you ask me. If they had had NG in there before Katrina hit and a sufficient amount to handle the situation, it would never have reached this point. Poor planning, no planning, whatever it is, they have failed miserably, whether on purpose or through just plain incompetency. Who really knows?
