Meanwhile, over in FOX world, O'Reilly blames Nagin...
...I switched to the O'Reilly Factor a moment last night when Countdown with Keith Olberman went to a commercial.

O'Relly was saying that the chaos was all because "Ray Nagin is no Rudy Guiliani," and some studio guest he had on was agreeing with him. Not a peep about the gross incompetence of the Bush administration. An you should have heard the smugness in O'Reilly's voice and seen the self-satisfied look on his ugly face. What a smarmy ignoramus.

It made me so sick I would've switched away even if Countdown wasn't back on. So this is the FOX version of things?

3. Well gee......
when Rudy called bush he actually answered the telephone. Everyone has been ignoring Nagin for 4 days now. Once again, the bigot O'Lielly shows his true colors, lily white and yellow.

Nagin's been screaming for days, no one has listened. If I'm not mistaken, the 9/11 tragedy occurred within a few blocks of New York. This tragedy is consuming an entire city and it's suburbs.

O'Reilly....just shut the hell up, you asshole! :grr:

only just the beginning. Gas running out all over the country. They think there is chaos now. I have already bought my months supply of bottled water and I suggest you do the same. A shotgun is my next purchase, the wife said she will fire it from the hip, LMFAO.

in this mess for all parties in the local, state and federal government.

7. Well the right-wing wackos have decided this disaster in NOL
is the same as 9/11. But 9/11 didn't destroy an entire city. Rudy still had communications, fire and police protection, electricity, water and food. He had a whole city of resources to draw from after the disaster. Ray Nagin only has a whole nation of resources to draw from. And that nation has turned their back on him.

9. Thank gawed he is no Guiliani
Edited on Fri Sep-02-05 07:00 AM by votesomemore
exactly how did Guiliani spare the twin towers?

The rescue efforts in NYC were BEFORE the massive layoffs and cuts in first response personnel that this misadministration enacted.
That money had to go to the have mores you know. It was BEFORE $400 BILLION dollars went into Halliburton's pockets aka Ira*q. (not sure about that figure but who cares) It was BEFORE the NG was ripped from their promised duty and shipped to a desert to die!

GUILIANI is the HERO HERE?

O'Smelly is a woman abuser and harrasses women at work. Remains unconvicted just like his bud Rush for massive drug fraud.
See how that works? You have to be a wingnut to get away with law breaking. Look right in front of your eyes.

I cannot watch that guy. My blood pressure won't take it.

12. Ugh. I hate that fucker.
The last thing we all need right now is to politicize this issue (beyond the things that need to be addressed, like the government's tortoise-like response to the disaster). O'Reilly is vermin.

14. nagin would kick his ass
Nagin does not control federal troops, national guard, fema or the blackshirts of homeland security. He is on the ground with his citizens and is rabid over the lack of anything more than "help is on the way." He was on NO radio this am and said "I'm tired of the BS, where's the beef?" How frickin long does it take to get MREs and bottled water?
Shit, the fema guy said "We didn't know the people at the convention center needed water" last night. Prob thought they were drinking to go cups from the quarter.

The repugs have been systematically working to dismantle government. As such, they are unprepared for those things which a government is normally expected to do, such as provide disaster relief. What a bunch of f*ing a**wipes.
