They are basically doing nothing. Gas prices are skyrocketing arbitrarily. Evacuees that make it to other states are being turned away from shelters. Some aid is being sent by boat. The "looter" meme is being repeated constantly. They cannot survive the political repurcussions. Bolton is at the UN.

they've busted the tolerance limits. I know a lot of people who are stark raving mad about what's going on in N.O. - and not just Dems and "liberals". but it's not to institute Martial Law. It is so that more people die. Martial Law would require restoring law and order. They have no desire to do that.
