11. He truly is a national disgrace
who deserves jail time...his claim that the indigent, elderly shut-ins and hospital patients are at fault for not jumping in SUVs and motoring elsewhere is malignantly ignorant.

"Involuntary manslaughter is "'the unintentional killing of a human being without malice, proximately caused by (1) an unlawful act not amounting to a felony nor naturally dangerous to human life, or (2) a culpably negligent act or omission.'"

2. "It's like FEMA has never been to a hurricane."
"We are like little birds with our mouths open, and you don't have to be very smart to know where to drop the worm," Colonel Ebbert said. "It's criminal within the confines of the United States that within one hour of the hurricane they weren't force-feeding us. It's like FEMA has never been to a hurricane."

13. He was asked if the NO emergency people
were right in charging that after three days, FEMA had not established command and control. And he paused for a moment and said, straight up, that he thought that was a fair assessment and that FEMA employees where frustrated because although they were very experienced, they were not getting the leadership they needed to do their jobs.

And HE is the guy in charge of the Southeast!
