GOP Ideology - Nightmare Government

Grover Norquist's famous quote: "I don't want to abolish government. I simply want to reduce it to the size where I can drag it into the bathroom and drown it in the bathtub.". The irony rivals any episode of the Twilight Zone.

The lesson returns: Politicians who "Hate Government" really suck at governing - especially in a crisis. And the GOP has built many careers and control of all branches of the Federal Government with this ruling ideology.

A really scary part, is what is going to happen the next time a disaster strikes, or even just looms? Confidence will be non existent and panic a certainty. People will expect worse than worst case and behave accordingly. And you can be certain that those who "hate us" are watching this with great interest and taking notes.
