They really don't see the connections with policies and how they affect people's lives and the people they vote for. They just see someone they're told is 'moral' and they just think it's true.

They don't see how voting for the man is one of the reasons this tragedy occured. Not the Hurricane. That would have happened no matter what.

The cutting of the New Orleans Engineeers budget by 44%, and 71 million the previous year. The appointing of people with no disaster experience to the FEMA position, twice, but simply as reward. The moving of the National Guard into Iraq and out of position to help people in their own states. The fact that it's days later and people are still dying from this.
