ROME on HBO - BushCo in togas

A new series, started last week. Watch episode one. I got the distinct feeling that the premise for this show is a not-so-subtle look at the Bush presidency. In the first episode, they speak of the great leader, Ceasar, consolidating power, invading Gaul, bullshitting the masses and plying them with gifts to win their favor. The show is BushCo in togas, with some bloody fight scenes and good bit of nakedness.

But not nearly as much nakedness as our own clothesless emporer is displaying.
