Please don't blame the "anti-tax". The evils being done to us have nothing to do with "paying" taxes or limiting taxes.
They have enough money to run a war, and run us into the ground.
It's been the ABUSE of our money and the utter lack of our own interests in the USE of it. WE are not being represented. It has nothing to do with taxes.
People who want to keep taxes to a low, reasonable level are the SAME one's that fear the government abuses like IN New Orleans RIGHT now. These monsters have nothing to do with taxes.
Those who traditionally support reasonable, low taxes ARE NOT in line with the policies of this admin. I do not and have never supported any initiative of this admin; even when they spout lines that might make sense, they're only USING those ideas to steal from the poor.
Plain and simple. Like bankrupcy. Limiting abuses? Okay. Cutting it out from people who need it, and continuing with big-money tax breaks? Criminal. And they want to KEEP taxes, no matter WHAT they say about tax breaks. None of us ever fell for that. We always knew it would equal more tax and spend. They want tax breaks for wealthy, and none of us ever supported that on it's face. Economic mumbo-jumbo, like everything else from this admin. It sounded okay, a few times, early on, but not for long.
Why are you worried about privatization, when the real problem is that we've been sold out in the first place? It's not even the fact that they turn to big business, it's that they turn EVERYTHING over to LOYAL, GOP businesses, businesses ALREADY crooked.
If they tried, gave it half an attempt, there ARE businesses EVERY bit as ethical as government. And for this government? It's not a far stretch.
No, make no mistake. The mistakes in privatization come from fascism. Government owns business and business owns government.
I understand the anger. Even hatred. It's not hard to understand. I don't even want to argue over it, and if you slam me over this, I'm not going to slam back. Say what you will. AT this point, I'd take being slammed here better than dealing with the tragedy. I just want to point this out. It wasn't businesses in general. It was the businesses IN BED with this admin.
This government caused the tragedy, the real tragedy. They also caused the failure with privatization, because the cards were stacked. Real efforts by businesses...weren't even given a chance.
I imagine there are MANY business owners now that HATE this admin...but the admin doesn't work with them. Never forget that; some of our nations wealthy will be ALL that stand between us and this crooked admin; the rest of us don't have the resources. Ethical people come in all income ranges.
Hate the source. All sides and ALL camps have seen their philosopies and goals used and perverted by this admin. Then they pit us against each other! It has nothing to do with taxes, or taxing philosophy. I promise. This is class warfare and very little else. Most folks who think they're doing really well economically right now have NO idea how much they're going to lose either, because they don't realize that, with few resources so share, few of them will actually be high enough on the totem pole. They don't see they're already drowning.
Hope any of that was constructive. I seek to stem the hate toward those of other philosophies. There's no reason to argue right now; none of us support the actions of this admin. Taxes be damned. They weren't even a national problem when he attacked them. Just like Iraq.
