I am starting a new thread this morning about the security problems in and around Baton Rouge I can tell you this:
yes, the govt buildings WERE shut down yesterday and it was not precautionary there were disturbances downtown - concrete ones I have a friend with Wildlife and Fisheries the same one that had been in N.O. for two days doing search and rescue and spent all of yesterday in a govt bldg in BR she came over last night to shower and spent hours filling us in
among other things she says this: anything you hear on the news you had better take it with a grain of salt unless you are physically there, or talk to someone who is, you are likely being spun or outright lied to
with that in mind, and there is too much to post I will relay what I personaly witnessed yesterday and this is AFTER I originally posted: the WalMart in Zachary (just north of Baton ROuge) had 15 police cars in the parking lot becasue SEVERAL people had pulled guns on customers in the lot and commandeered their stuff the city of BR and the Twon of Zachary both issued statements that citizens should get off the street because there were too many incidents of 'trouble' and they are trying to sort it out every business in Zachary had the doors locked you had to be let in the WinnDixie was PACKED people from hundre3ds of miles away in Mississippi were looking for food and I talked to several myself gas is almost completely unavailable
more later, but that for now
