1. I doubt it's Germany
I know the bus stop sign above is in German, but it is SERIOUSLY illegal to display the swastika in Germany. NOBODY on the streets would allow this to stay up. Must be in Austria, though I thought they had an anti-swastika law too.

I love the poster, but am confused as to the origin of this pic...

2. Not Germany or Austria
The bus/streetcar route text is not in German. It looks like Finish.

8. Hmm...saw this picture a while ago
and noted the text was clearly German, but after reading your comment I rechecked. In this version of the picture it is difficult to read the sign, but I think you're right. Not German. Strange. I wonder if there's some photoshopping going on...

11. Not even close
As stated in this thread already the text isn't German; signs like that are used in several German cities, BErlin not among them.

A Berlin sign:

10. Little Finnish history
Finland fought with Germany in World War II and joined Hitler's attack against Russia in 1941.

Finnish soldiers fought till almost the very end of the war against the Russians and gave a very good accounting of themselves though their command and the German command were often at odds which led to a lack of cooperation on the Russian Front.
