The flood gates have opened (pun intended). There's no going back for Bushco.

What we at DU have known since day 1 is now undeniable to anyone who is not braindead. These people are criminally negligent, incopetent and corrupt to the core. They don't care, they have never cared and we're on our own. Now everyone knows and there is no turning back, there is no turning this around. No amount of PR will help. Another terror attack will only make it worse.

The bottom has finally and irreversibly fallen out from under Bushco.

It's a damn shame it had to take such a catastrophe to do it, but sometimes that is what it takes.

I only hope we get to see these scumbags truly held accountable for their crimes.

They just don't care. I'm dumbfounded that our government wasn't preparedn, and doesn't seem concerned enough to scramble resources.

I hope people around the country are learning the lesson: if something other than an Al Qaeda attack happens, we're on our own.

This isn't the greatest country in the world right now - far from it. Fortunately, we have the resources to be; with actual leadership, we can be great again.

2. Even if Another AQ Attack Happens

We're on our own. The response to an AQ attack would be no different, it would probably be even worse. Remember, they had days warning of the hurricane and STILL didn't prepare.
