Clothing Drive - my church is doing something.
I just recieved in email from Father Jim, the episcopal church were I go said it liked my idea of a clothing food drive. He's bringing it up sunday. I feel better that I can do something even though am dirt poor.

The company I work for is doing tremendous things to aid the victims. We have a lot of Louisiana employees and we are paying them all a "per diem" to help them get through this awful time. The CEO, President and CFO are all personally driving trailers loaded with cots, blankets, provisions, etc. that my company has bought.

We are collecting clothing and other items from employees here which they will drive to Louisiana themselves next week. I have stuff I can send and, I'm with you, it makes me feel so much better that I have an opportunity to help, knowing this stuff is going to the right people - the victims.

Amazingly, my company is in oil services. Today, I am so proud to work here.
