I commented to my wife yesterday, when the other blowhards were getting face-time. They were wearing crisp blue suits. Fat white guys in crisp navy blue suits and starched white shirts...that always works to reassure poor black people in a crisis. Really makes a fat white guy look like he's in touch, doesn't it?

So, this is the first thing I've seen Bush do that actually makes sense; dressing in "work clothes." I am totally serious. It is good theatre.

Unfortunately, it still is only theatre. That $500 shirt will probably never be worn again, to boot.
