Our foreign minister (hell our whole government) bungled the Tsunami disaster and people exploded as she took the the government plane over there a week later to "see witness the devastation for herself" - strutting her ignorant self around at the hospitals for photo ops.

She never got over it pr wise, and my hunch is that we will have a new leadership in 06 because of that disaster.

When the survivors came home my friend who works for the state dep. was told not to wear a suit when greeting the people of the plane. The day before a survivor knocked the poop out a civil servant and when the idiot wanted to press charges, the cop took a choke hold on him and slammed him into the wall.

My point is, I do not think * cabinet realize just how angry, frustrated etc. the american people is.
