My auto mechanic has turned against the Coward.
Says he voted for him, but he's been a bad president.

He showed up with my car just as the bullshitbriefing was ending with his wife and I told them what was going on.

They had been listening on the radio to the NO Mayor's rant and told me a little about it.

A little progress....

2. I wouldn't do that
It's water under the bridge, anyway, and would make him feel all the worse for his poor judgment and resentful that his hideous error cannot be forgiven.

Best thing to do is thank him for seeing the light, and welcome him to the Club of Sanity and Progress...

4. Club of Sanity and Progress...
I like that :)

I agree - there are many here who offer the 'too little, too late' meme when if comes to those whose minds have changed. On a level, I can understand, and feel the same way. But face-to-face, it isn't very productive to shame people for not getting it sooner.

Encouragement and education are key.

3. No. Wasn't necessary.
I think his wife lets him know on a fairly regular basis that his vote was a bad one.

He said "All politicians are full of shit."

I agreed, but I said this guy is a criminal and he's incompetent. He agreed.
