Cant get money out of the bank here in Houston

Our checking account is with Hibernia Bank, based in Louisiana. Payments that were supposed to be made Monday through bill payment online have not been received. All week long their website has been unable to give any information about my account. We tried to stop paychecks from being auto deposited there but are unable to.

My daughter just went to the bank to get money out of her account. She said they cant tell you your account number, your balance, and you are limited to withdrawing $500/day.

There are people in the parking lot, apparently from New Orleans just sitting there. My guess is that they can't prove that they have an account because they lost checkbooks,etc.
