NY/NJ area- please recommend a radio station

to listen to. I don't listen to radio at all, but I am working at home today and want to be tuned into what's going on- news and/or commentary.

Please advise on radion station and program to listen to- I get better reception on FM if possible.

1. News: CBS 880 AM or WINS 1010 AM, WWRL for Air America 1610 I believe

ABC 770 AM is all wingnuts, all the time.

2. thanks- 1610 is AM? One reason I don't listen to radio

is because I can't stand the length and frequency of commercial breaks.

3. Theres an NPR station in the '80s, and WBAI at 99.5

4. AAR is 1190 AM

I get excellent reception for AAR but then again I am just across the GW Bridge in Bergen County

out of NYC. They carry Pacifica Radio.

I'm not sure where it is on the dial anymore.
