Edited on Fri Sep-02-05 11:38 AM by KeepItReal
Inside hangar as backdrop and outside on the runways....helicopters just chillin.

Also note the Coast Guardsmen who must have been told to look busy. After awhile, they just stood at attention on the side.

4. Note: It only takes one mechanic to refuel an aircraft.
Or to inspect it, maybe 2 to do a major inspection.

Source: Husband is helicopter mechanic.

7. Were the helicopter "props" stamped with "Made in China?"
'Made in China' labels hidden at Bush event

'Overzealous volunteer' blamed for move

From Jennifer Yuille
CNN Washington Bureau
Wednesday, January 22, 2003 Posted: 6:06 PM EST (2306 GMT)

President Bush stands in front of boxes which had "Made in China" labels obscured.

ST. LOUIS, Missouri (CNN) -- Someone wanted the right setting Wednesday as President Bush traveled to the Midwest to deliver another pitch for his economic plan.

When the president delivered his remarks, he did so from the floor of a warehouse with American flags in the background along with the logo "Strengthening America's Economy" on a backdrop of boxes. The boxes were stamped "Made in U.S.A."

One problem: The boxes were made in China.

Or were the Bushistas able to cover them in time? Were the pilots stamped the same way? You can't assume ANYTHING with this bunch!

(And damn those 'Overzealous volunteers!')
