If you haven't, please do. For one, it's very therapeutic. I unloaded on all 3 of them and I felt better for having done it.

It's also the only way they'll ever understand that, whether Democrat or Republican, they'd better do something now or risk being unceremoniously removed from office next year.

Just Google your elected officials' names, or maybe someone can post a link to a place that has all of the phone numbers.

Tell them to help NOW, not tomorrow. Tell them to either do something on the floor of the House/Senate, or grab a sandbag and get the hell to New Orleans. Tell them that any association with GWB at this point will constitute certain political death (it was a joy to tell this to Mitch McConnel's people). Please do this. Please. And then call any other official you can think of.

Also, please keep this kicked. GD is moving really fast today; I hope this doesn't sink into obscurity. It's too important.

Can't say I got any answers but they knew that I was NOT happy. I told them someone needs to step up and take responsibility for the failure to get help out sooner to these people. Please everyone, call your reps now and let them know that this is NOT acceptable in the United States of America.

I think we're very, very close to the point where elected Republicans will either need to vote to impeach Bush or go down in the '06 elections.

I want to make this choice as plain and as stark as possible for these people.

An aide who I talked to said that our NG (WA state) is 'on stand-by', OR NG is on its way... I started to get really emotional but tried to hold it together, and I asked her, "Why haven't we done airlifts of food and water?" and she said they're asking the same questions, watching it on tv just like we are...
