People crying right in Bush's face ... he's never had to deal with this b4
Edited on Fri Sep-02-05 12:24 PM by gauguin57
... people crying right in his face. He looks so uncomfortable. People are crying right in his face and telling him what they need, and he's saying, "well, we'll get you some clothes. we'll get you what you need."

Now he's kissing kids on the head, and the cameras are clicking.

I'm telling you, the country will LOOOOVE this asshole by the end of the day. Now he's the BIG MAN, the BIG SAVIOR.

They will LOVE him.

I give up.

4. They are showing his trip through Biloxi. He's standing in the rubble,
and African-American kids and white adults are telling him (some of them crying) what they've been through, how high the water was they had to wade through, everything they need, what they don't have. And he's got his arms around them, and he's telling them, "We'll get it for you. We'll help you."

And as he kisses the kids on the head, he lingers there, and the cameras are clicking like crazy. That'll be the shot in the paper.

Christ, I'm going to be sick.

7. He's in Mississippi.
Comforting 2 black girls who lost their homes and talking to some white guy wearing a backpack. He told the girls to go to a shelter and they said it was wiped out. The guy with the backpack said things were worse in NO. Then he hugged and kissed them and shook the guy's hand. The two girls looked comforted, but he kind of looked uncomfortable. More twitching jaw.

The guy's not human. What an ass. This is so obviously a PR setup.

2. Bullshit
This is NOT going to make people love him. Of course there are those who will never waver from their blind loyalty, but I think the average person can see this for what it is. Also they have even the news weenies telling them that this is obviously a photo op.

3. The average sane American will realize this for the pathetic gesture
it is.....how many people had to die before he took the time to pose for the cameras with victims that survived....

9. The average American re-elected this total incompetent
I have no faith in them to see through this. If they could see, they'd have seen through him in 2004. I know the election was stolen, but the fact that it was even CLOSE shows they're clueless. Totally open to media manipulation. When I saw Bush kissing those kids for a long time when he knew the cameras were rolling, I could just SEE him burnishing his image.

17. Don't I wish
I don't wish death on anyone because that's against my religion.

Except him.

Because he is so incredibly evil that I don't think even the Buddha himself would forgive him.

10. NO..Here's the deal
Too many died who did not need to. And then there has been the mismanagement of the evacuees..families separated....

Then we will have a huge economic downturn as part of the aftermath.. and all these people will need homes and jobs and food and money....

The anger over this will not subside any time soon. Most of the media is awake and asking all the right questions.

And for the cherry on top: the Plame indictments.

16. But have you noticed how the tide is now turning slowly
but surely in regards to the journalists four whole days of asking for once real questions that demanded real answers of which none were forthcoming....

I think the call has been made and heads are going to roll if they don't begin to backtrack, enough with the negative news media telling the truth and asking for FACTS and not lies to be the normal responses that we have had to put up with for much too long...

20. Who is this "we" Chimpy keeps talking about
You know..... "we" will do this and "we" will do that..... Chimpy never did a damn thing in his life!

I dont have the TV on because I just ate lunch. Besides, I cant bear to see him for even 10 seconds.

I dont think this will sit well with most Americans. It's nothing but horrible exploitation of a terrible tragedy. If he REALLY cared, he would have been there DAYS ago, and seen to it that help arrived DAYS ago.... and he would NOT have been partying it up on Monday and Tuesday.

Impeach this heartless, incompetent "president".

31. "We" -- him and his parasites (from drinking the water maybe?)
Edited on Fri Sep-02-05 01:24 PM by Lisa
I think he absent-mindedly drank some of that contaminated surface water and acquired intestinal worms, or something. That's the only reason I can think of. Professional editors and bona fide royalty are the only ones who are allowed to use "we", and he's neither.

28. Well, everything's ok now. Bush says the people have a good attitude
Bush says everyone's got a good spirit, even though their childhood homes have been washed away.

"There's a spirit here in Mississippi that's uplifting. I'd like to thank the governor for his leadership, and he's helped calm everyone's nerves."

"I'm here to tell the good people of this part of the world that the federal gov't is going to help."

Wake me when we get a real president, please.
