Can you please block the ads on DU?
They are slowing things up considerably

1. yeah, I don't understand that...

the "loading blogads" thing is hanging up my browser. Is all the traffic causing it, or is the piggy-backing of ads causing it? I thought we contributed during the quarterly fund-raise---a la PBS---to keep out those commercials...am I wrong? Or does introducing advertisements during high-traffic times generate more revenue, a.k.a. opportuni$tic doubling-up?

If the blogads server is choking, it can stall the page rendering in some browsers. These guys should avoid the Latest page.

7. No ads on my system. Run AdAware and Spybot on your computer.

You probably picked up some AdWare or Spyware.

Also run your Anti-virus software.
