We need more than accountability

After the relief effort - finally - gets the job done. We need to hold those who failed responsible. But we need to start listening to the scientists and engineers and stop playing politics. We need the American people to demand planning and implementation. But that can only come with responsibility.

On a side note, this is also an argument for the trial lawyers. They force the big companies to be accountable and responsible. Yes, the awards are sometimes egregious and yes there are too many frivolous lawsuits. But this is part of the checks and balances.
