MSNBC going after FEMA
Cong. Bill Pascherlli (D-Ill) criticizing administration's handling of FEMA. Says Illinois offered help before hurricane, but only heard back today.

"Shocked by what President said in Mississippi."

President ought to apologize to National Guard of La.

6. He was using his own state as an example.
He had a lot more to say. He was pissed.

Never mind that scores of countries want to help.

8. Really? I have been wondering where the Red Cross and
other organizations have been. Usually they're front-and-center but I haven't seen a single pic of them on any of the news reports I have seen. I thought that was REALLY odd. FEMA blocked them out? Do you have a link? Don't worry, I believe you. I'd just like to read an article or two to get the details.

Note: I am NOT slamming the Red Cross or any of the other organizations. I just thought it was odd that I haven't seen them on TV at all. I'm sure they're in the area and I know that Red Cross workers from MN headed down there a couple of days ago. I just thought it was weird that I haven't see a single clip of them anywhere on TV. That's not normal at all. If FEMA blocked them, that would explain everything.

9. No, you're right, I heard an interview with a desperate woman
(tourist) who wasn't able to evacuate, she was in an abandoned hotel in the French Quarter and she was half out of her mind asking where's the NG?, where's the Red Cross? She hadn't seen anyone.
