purposes? They gonna get crappy trade-ins, they're underwater on their payments, and it costs $100.oo to fill the tanks... I predict massive insurance fraud starting this weekend.

...actually I think they will be hiring professional car thieves to steal their SUVs and then torch them.

Elaborate please- what does trading in a car have to with nsurance fraud? I am an agent and I am just curious as to the conneciton? I have had questions about my chosen profession before, but when somehting like this happens you realize that insurance can help get these people back to where they were to some degree prior to the huricane. Just curious-that's all.

get very much and they would be better off collecting insurance on a 'stolen' or totalled vehicle. At least, that's how I read it.

3. Fire? They're going to be crashing them into our cars! |

See a Kerry or WTF sticker on the car, and gun the engine. Hope to do enough damage to total the SUV and kill a liberal for Christ as a twofer. The biggest reason given for SUV buys in the 90s was that they can see over us "little people".

in the part of the country where I live where an SUV becomes rather necessary (depending on what you are calling an SUV). I nor will anyone I know be trading them in and no I'm sure as hell not wealthy, etc, but everyone that drives an SUV doesn't drive it just for the fun and expense of it.
