Americablog Nails it - George Bush needs to step aside
http://americablog.blogspot.com/2005/09/george-bush-needs-to-step-aside.html

Two things have become clear.

1. Fire FEMA Director Michael Brown.

FEMA director Michael Brown is either incompetent or a liar, and his only job seems to be giving non-stop interviews on TV when he should be coordinating hurricane relief. It's time for President Bush to appoint someone else who can handle the job, and give the guy $60,000 bucks to hire a spokesman.

2. President Bush needs to step aside.

It's time we talked about the elephant in the room. Bush isn't presidential, he never was, and we all knew it. He won reelection because John Kerry sucked, not because the majority wanted him in office. As a caretaker president, he might be fine, but when disaster hits we need a real leader, not some guy who simply isn't smart enough, and doesn't have the backbone or instinct to lead. We are witnessing first-hand what happens when a weak leader responds to a crisis. The crisis worsens, and people die.

2. Right on!
I want Clark as our man in 08' but I still would want Kerry in charge right now. For those who saw "Going Up River, the Story of John Kerry" you would have seen what a REAL LEADER looks like.

3. If Boy George steps aside...
We get Dick Voldemort.

And if Dick Voldemort steps aside, we get Dennis Hasturd.

There are no good alternatives except the election in '06 & '08 when we can remind everyone of how inept this regime is.

6. And where exactly is Dick Voldemort Cheney?
Honestly. Where in the fuck is the Vice President?

If he was bunkered down in an "unsecured location," you can bet we'd have heard about it by now.

Did he and Condi go to a Broadway comedy together, while NOLA drowned?

But I like how Americablog conveniently ignores election fraud to get in some nice jabs at our candidate. I should support Democrat haters why? :eyes:

John Kerry didn't suck. The attack juggernaut, including the media, made people believe things that were not true about him. Then the GOP manipulated the vote in certain states where Kerry actually won ...

11. Nope
This effectively let's the Republican Party off the hook for having given birth to President Bush, and that's not acceptable.

14. Frankly I'm not concerned about letting them off the hook...
I think it's more important to have adequate leadership when the lack of it is causing the deaths of thousands. Their blood is on his hands.

12. Brown, Chertoff and everyone in between
can expect a nice fat promotion in a few months, that's how Bush rewards incompetance at least. Fire them all. now. Be a man, hold a press conference and publically fire them. That is the only way to salvage anything of your reputation, George. you are supposed to be running the country like a business, in a business, when one division has catastrphic failure, you fire the heads. stat.

so, how happy is Condi Rice to be out of the White House right now?
