I called King's office in DC because his district office was closed. I asked if anything is being done in my district to help people. The girl said that she would call me back. I said OK, when. She said "I don't know." I said that there are people dying down there and they have to do better. She said someone will call me back. I eventually told her that people were being murdered and she is partly responsible. Hopefully these crappy politicians will get the message. It's not acceptable to let Americans die in the streets. And it's certainly not acceptable to have no plan.

Back when he was relatively junior, he seemed like he might be a decent guy, but something happened along the way to turn him into a typical RW rethug.
