Prediction: We will never get an accurate NOLA death toll

Whatever numbers we get will be vague and a fraction of the truth. Numbers in the thousands will be trivialized as being hysterical. We have no hope of ever knowing how many people died 1) from the impact of the hurricane itself, 2) from the flooding from the broken levies 3) the number of people that died from starvation or dehydration after the hurricane and after the flooding and soon 4) from disease.

Does anyone expect an administration that is as bent on secrecy as this one to allow the open publicizing of any death toll numbers that reflect their failed policies? Does anyone expect an administration that hides coffins of our soldiers killed in Iraq to come clean with a domestic death toll from their failings?

I do not expect anything but "estimates" and it will be Bush's estimates. Anything closer to reality (i.e. thousands) will be called hysterical and they will say there's no need to politicize this tragedy. The brown shirts will spread vicious lies about how these people deserved to die from their own stupidity and slander and slur anyone that tries to get to the real truth.

Will the MSM let them get away with this? Maybe.

so look at the pop of the tent city they will set up and do the math the delta is the missing/dead

If they have shipped 10,000 out and 30,000 or so are at the convention center/dome. say 10,000 city residents are in their homes and ok... that is 50,000 but the population is 500,000 that only accounts for 50% of those that stayed because 20% is 100,0000
