water and she thought food. Hadn't had any except a cookie in the am that day. I remember her call she was there with her husb for anniversay and there was a convention of MD's Infectious Disease Conference. She didn't think anyone knew they were there. Some had been evacuated early on, but 300 of them remained. I am glad they got them out, but am very disturbed as to how quickly and how easy and with protection. What the Hell! Why not the others???

Saying that the hotel arranged for them to get out. Had doctors who were in the hotel who were able ro "commandeer" antibiotics from a Walgreens. They were told to take the antibiotics because they were going to be walking in the water with raw sewage. Then she said they were taken to the Marriott with armed guards??? Hmmmmm

Those in first class were given first chance at the lifeboats, while the passengers in steerage were stuck down in the bottom of the ship. It is rumored that they were locked down, with no way to escape the rising waters.
