But the real question is isn't much of the funding controlled by the Federal Government. Last night I heard the Federal Government controls the funding that would have improved the funding, and of course they cut the funding.

But it was only a matter of time before cable "news" took the blame off of Bush and started placing it on the state and local governments.

Bush is there now so expect cable news to fall back in line.

Sept. 6: The John Roberts Hearings begin.

Sept. 11: The 4 year anniversary of the 9/11 attacks.

Ten days from now cable news probably won't even be talking about New Orleans or the Gulf Coast.
