cutting of federal funding for the levies, lack of funding for
evacuation, and most importantly the reality is in any city, anywhere
if you are poor these days you are royally fucked.

While this is bringing it to light...try getting sick in America and being poor, you also get to die.

So, I did write and say to immediately retract and clarify and pointed out that the Mayor is about ready to take Brown, FEMA director hostage in order to get help for his city, he's clearly and rightly very pissed and doing everything possible.
