Support for the Iraq War is about to plummet
There is still a stubborn (but shrinking) majority of Americans who say that we need to keep the troops in Iraq, even though we made a mistake.

I predict now that that support will erode in the coming weeks as the full cost of this disaster in money and lives becomes clear.

1. But it's God's will that all of these things have happened ...
... as my neighbors would say.

Give me a damn break, as I say. I agree ... residual support for bush's war will likely fade.

3. The plans for Iran are over.
Cheney will have to hop in his piece of shit jet and Nuke them himselves, and get shot down. He probably would do it and end his life for oil.

4. I do not have any facts to support it but
I get the nagging feeling that we are a bit vulnerable just now and spread a bit thin militarily but the feeling remains just the same. And yes the Iraq war has just jumped the shark.

8. The war on terror is really the war on oil.
And I think it just blew out its own backyard.....WHOOOSH!!!!! PNAC wanted to go out and take over everything, building an endless oil and water infrastructure stolen from every country.

I think their plans and Israel just hit a big snag...

:wow:

5. How's the War on Terror going to play now?
If Katrina doesn't absolutely stop the charade of Terrists doing this country in, nothing will. Our security ought to be squared focus on natural disaster preperations....a small portion of which would be the threat of terrorism.

Bush WOT is a hollow idea in light of Katrina and our federal government's inability to react.

6. I think you are right.
Reporters on NBC tonight were making the explicit comparison between the capacity of the military to make things happen fast in Iraq and the lack of anything happening in NO. The comparison was mentioned several times by random citizens being interviewed.

7. I think the hardcore 'stay the course' bots will shrink to under 30 %
of the population.
