3. shhh.... the CCC was a commie pinko plot
that built a lot of the highways, dams, and schools we're still using today. We can't possibly try doing something that might work... we're on a roll here.

6. That makes the most sense.
Give the contract to the city itself. Let the people help decide what areas will be rebuilt and when. Let them profit from destruction.

7. That's how an FDR would have handled it
Put decency back in the minds of men by putting them back to work.

12. The Federal Govt should create a new city...
a communal city..to be a tent city at first...and all who are able could be taken to the new area and live there and work to build their own homes and new city...there is enough land just open in the usa..so that a city for 50,000 displaced people could live and develop their own new city...could build the homes, start the businesses...and the federal govt should provide the money for the infrastructure and building of the city and homes...and pay the workers to boot. not a replacement for new orleans..but all these displaced people need a new start and a place to live now. i know..this is way too communistic to be considered..but it could be a very good thing in the long run for these displaced humans..a new life in a city they built themselves.

11. I'm sure they can get minimum wage jobs from Halliburton
But I'm betting they'll have to move to the Dominican Republic to get hired first.

13. Expect most of the 10.5 Billion Aid to be Eaten by Fat Cats
Just like the 8 Billion Cash swallowed up in Iraq and not accounted for.
