I'm not kidding.

Oprah has got the ear of middle America.

She has got to get righteously angry, and she has got to get political.

She has aligned herself with Barack Obama, so we can guess where her political leanings are.

Oprah, get out your megaphone. Tell the world how the president of your country committed a mass murder of thousands of mostly black people. Tell people that they must NOT take this anymore. Tell them to become involved politically. Tell them to fight back against these rightwing monsters who would let a city full of people drown and starve like so many trapped rats.

Please Oprah. I'm on my knees begging.

8. I know what you mean. I have mixed feelings about her.

But I think, overall, Oprah has been good for this country. She is doing a great long-term project in South Africa. I hope she can step up for New Orleans as well.
