a very good read. He has had no pity for anyone with a substance abuse problem, but I am sure he will ask for pity and forgiveness for his problems, bet on it!!

I sincerely hope he gets a chance to learn about substance abuse in jail, like he recommends for the poor, "inner-city" "minority" kids he has put down for profit and glory. Perhaps, like his love-ideal Bush, Rush suffers narcissistic personality disorder. Like his "talent," it's on loan from the Supreme Being. Which one is open to debate.

10. Is Ashcroft's new Get Tough Policy applicable in this case?

Maybe the reported large quantities of drugs purchased may kick this into federal jurisdiction? Of course, since Limbaugh and Ashcroft are probably old buddies (they're both from Missouri), then we'll need a special prosecutor to handle the Limbaugh case. And naturally, they'll push for the highest possible charges and sentences, without plea bargains, just as Ashcroft has directed his staff to do against non-Republican criminals.

I can imagine, if Rushbo gets indicted and convicted...defrocked of his regular radio pulpit (bets are the EIB won't be pulled until OxyLimbaugh is frog-walked out of the place)...he will turn to the ultimate power...Jesus..ala Charles Colson.

Rush, just like his religious-nut brother, will have some revelation and use his prison time to "reach out"...starting some ministry. Then soon, the ministry will be produce a radio show that will be distributed on hundreds of Christian stations...and the "new" Rush will be born.

Redemption? Pity? Rush? Sorry, I agree with the many others who believe he should reap what he's sown. May he now face the system and retribution he's preached on others who aren't as lucky and rich as he is.

From what I understand, opiates give you a big euphoric 'Rush'. Ya know, I've done some stupid things in my time, but never anything as stupid as Rush has done. I almost feel sorry for him. Almost.

Rush needs to feel all the heat society can muster. Not for doing a drug that bleeds reality away, but, rather, for his hypocrisy.
