I'll Ask It Again to Keep the Question Alive: Where is Dick Cheney?
Where?

Why doesn't the Corporate Media ask this question?

1. Hiding under his bed?
:scared: :hide: :scared:

Or maybe just washing out his socks. There are more important things to be doing. It's not as if there is a national disaster happening, right or as if large number of people have lost their lives and their homes?:sarcasm:

2. And I will KICK it, because I think the question has MERIT
I have not seen hide nor hair of him, not a photo, not a video, not ANYTHING, in WEEKS.

Al Gore never was known for hiding out. He was always out and about, doing stuff on behalf of the nation. Guess Darth Robot doesn't have the juice to keep up with Righteous Al...

Either that, or something more ominous. We are accustomed to our government lying to us, so nothing should surprise us anymore.

This ain't the days of Grover Cleveland's jaw surgery--we're big kids now, we CAN handle the truth.

Where the fuck is DICK????????

while he was on a weekend or something like that. Wonder if he's having heart problems......bypass surgery......hmmmmm.

26. You have to first "Have" a heart
in order to have problems. He has never had one.

Now that some in the media appear to be waking up, I wish one of them would voice this question--the rest will follow suit.

4. I'll bet Keith Olberman would ask.
Cheney is taked with heading up national emergency preparations...I think Katrina would fit that description....maybe we should get a letter writing campaign going to Keith, Cafferty, AAR.

I think it is a legitimate question and if he is incapacitated, why aren't we informed?

18. The last photo "we" saw of him ...
... he looked very ill. If this wasn't the case, I can't believe that "they" wouldn't have him come out and pretend to care about the human tragedy in the aftermath of Katrina. Everyone else in the administration has come out trying to do damage control ... ?

I guess we'll see if he makes it to those fund raisers (mentioned earlier in the thread).

Edited on Fri Sep-02-05 08:14 PM by Old and In the Way
We really should start a letter campaign...

Hello Keith-

Curiously absent in the whole tragic drama being played out this week in New Orleans is……where is Vice-President Cheney? I believe he is tasked with heading up national emergency responses. DHS/FEMA I believe answer to Mr. Cheney. So where is Dick Cheney? Last I heard, he was still on vacation…..STILL ON VACATION????? I don't believe it. Can you find out? Maybe broadcast an APB or get your crack crew of investigators on this? I'm nervous that the terrorists might have abducted him and could be holding him, perhaps negoiating a swap for his stock options . Or maybe he has simply been busy working on the Halliburton contract to refurbish the Navy shipyard in New Orleans…the no-bid contract that was awarded today.

Seriously, he does work for the American people, right? If he is incapacitated, shouldn't that be in the public's interest? Maybe Bush really is in charge…………..

Thanks for all you do…..you are a veritible point of light in a rather dim universe of broadcast media.

Sincerely

if he thinks we're looking for him he might crawl out from under his corporatist rock.

But George Bush says,

"Dick Cheney can be Vice President" (2004) so we KNOW it must be true.

25. Lies, lies, lies
Chenney is consumate liar. He only slithers out from under his rock when he can succesfully lie. There is no way to lie his way out of the fact that the government meaning him and george f*ucked up completely. This is utter chaos, thousand have died needlessly, many thousands suffering horribly, needlessly, a city destroyed needlessly. How can you spin the reality by using the usual "if you will" bullshit lies chenney is so skilled at. I hate that man. Bob

28. Disneyland?
Edited on Fri Sep-02-05 08:48 PM by suegeo
After taking in a few of the park's free shows, he'll be robbing the wandering Donald Duck and Goofy characters, and the proceeds will go to the victims of the hurricane.

And don't worry about all the hard work that needs to be done on ride maintenance. Dick's an oil man, so if the boats at the "It's a small world after all" ride need lubricant, Dick will get the job done.

Now that I've written that, I am afraid I will wake up tomorrow morning only to read the headline "Disney's Small World ride catches fire. Dozens of tourists feared killed." Accompanying the story will be a picture of melted little puppets, smoking and grotesque due to the fire.

but I do know where he will be on Sept. 8. In Calgary, Alberta. Also going up to the oil sands in northern Alberta. You know. Just in case. He is going to be wined and dined here by the Fraser Institute (a right-wing "think tank" <and I use the word "think" lightly>. He won't miss an opportunity to fund raise and check out where his next paycheque is coming from. Bastard.

Look, we all know that Bush is useless. But this is a national crisis that properly reponded to by ANY politician in power, of ANY political stripe, would look A LOT DIFFERENT THAN THIS!

So where are the so-called "adults" of the Bush admin?
Where is Cheney?
And where is RUMSFELD? I almost thought he had this kind of thing in him. He gave good press conference at least directly after 9-11. All hat, no cattle! The whole lot of them!
