Anyone see the police officer on CNN who was crying?

I've been flipping back and forth between CNN and the concert on MSNBC. Just flipped back to CNN and they were interviewing a police woman who was crying. She was talking about what has happened to her city, and how they have to get their faith back because they will rebuild.

that black guy ... a cop ... say, "I want you to get this out ... to all those New Orleans cops who deserted the city ... you took an OATH to protect these people! How can you wear the badge? You can't wear this badge!"

That man, I tell you, is a warrior. He will never surrender. He will never yield. He will never abandon his people.

2. I missed that one.

When I saw the report on the police desertions, I was appalled. I know it is horrible there -- in fact, I cannot even fathom how bad it is for those people in the middle of it all -- but I truly cannot fathom how people can just desert their posts. That officer IS a warrior!
