Shep says that the masses were told to go to shelters of doom and locked in.

Geraldo is holding babies crying and talking of death all around and asking "why?".

The world's biggest Asshole Sean Hannity, is finally speechless.

This is racism at its worst. In Florida, where the victims were mostly white, mostly rich, in Bush's Brother's state during an election year, heaven and earth were moved for the victims of four hurricanes.

Now, the Feds can't get relief where it's needed in a week.

All sorts of people were victims to the four storms that hit here last year. Retired folks trailer homes were completely wiped out by Charley.

The fact that response seemed better in an election year does not reflect the victims of the storm.

This doesn't excuse a poor response in New Orleans, but there are all kinds in Florida.

I don't pay to see that cable TV dribble. C-Span fortunately is FREE, and Olbermann has a blog so I can always read his stuff. Most of the rest is BS.

For what it's worth, long before Geraldo became a Fox NUZE Guy, he was a semi-serious investigative NYC TV reporter. He uncovered some horrendous conditions at a home for the cognitively disabled, back when they were known as the mentally retarded, and I believe it did some good.

He was also accused of changing his name from Jerry Rivers to the Hispanic version because it was hip to be Puerto Rican. I don't care about that too much. People should be called what they want to be called.

But I can see how he could be capable of doing some good work down there after being useless for so many years.

Shep on the other hand is some kind of weird right wing beatnik or something! Glad he came up with something journalistic for a change.

For what it's worth, David Brooks said on the PBS NewsHour tonight that many Repukes are furious at Bush about this, including him. These useless clones need to take their f#$%ing party back, don't they?
